The Alvi Extendable Dining Table
The Alvi is a solid ash extendable with straight sides and softly rounded ends: the two half-tops part around a centre leaf to open into a full round when the table needs to grow, and close back to their everyday shape when it does not. The cone pedestal underneath keeps every seat legless.
It is offered in solid ash only, in six finishes — and like every solid-ash piece we make, the top can be sanded back and re-oiled rather than replaced, so the grain keeps running unbroken across the closed top.
